I don't know about that, but yeah we've been to Golan Heights. Actually, all you really have to do is make a left turn somewhere around the north edge of Tiberias (Sea of Galillee) in Israel and you're suddenly there perhaps without even realizing it. Like so many other places we're told by non-travelers and the media to avoid, it was actually pretty uneventful. We did see an abandoned tank out in a field and several UN vehicles, but hey...
Gamla apparently has these HUGE condors, but we didn't see any.
