The trip on the Lena is definitely not for everybody. No tours. It was arranged by two individuals, both of whom speak fluent Russian. But I can look up the name of the travel agency in Yakutsk who can do it for you, if you are really interested. Sorry, I haven't looked at this stuff lately. Kev
The term, 'Love Barge,' was used by Russian comedian, Yakov Smirnoff back in the 80s. He made fun of the Soviets and was very popular. Unlike the West, which had fancy cruise ships like the 'Love Boat,' he said in the Soviet Union it was a 'Love Barge.' :-)
