  Hi Jack,

  I was sorry to miss the March presentatin but I am volunteering to to run car driving tours with my car club - so that weekend I was taking a group of 34 people on 21 cars thru the Avenue of the Giants up northern CA.  Hope you enjoyed Ecuador and Peru - I am on my way to Peru in 2 weeks after 9 years away.   I actually met the President from Bolivia - Evo Morales a few years back.

  Hopefully I'll see you in June meeting... hope all is well with you and Nancy.  Happy trails, Lillie.

  Lillie:Missed you at the last meeting earlier this month with JoAnn Schwartz as the guest speaker. You must have been traveling. Nancy and I were in Ecuador and Peru in December and we mentioned you a few times in our conversations. Didn't you meet the current head of Ecuador ? Rafael Correa?

  Thanks Lillie, I will take all that on board. Yes Sept and Oct are peak season, were there a lot of tourists? Did you hook up with a particular travel company?

  Unfortunately the trip to mali fell through this year dud to lack of interest in the trip I wanted to go with.

  I see you have been to namibia, thats on radar for 2012. Any recommendations, where are the cheetahs, and what is the best month?
