Bomb Crater, Benghazi Airport

Before the U.S and NATO established the 'No Fly Zone' over Libya, Gaddafi sent his MIGs to bomb Benghazi, but the pilots deliberately missed their targets and one pilot bailed out over the Mediterranean and let the plane crash rather than drop bombs on Libyan civilians.
