Dear JoAnn,
Thanks for posting this. I have plans to travel there in the fall and wonder when this will take effect. Thanks, Linda
Hi Alisher.
Great news and thanks so much for the update!
I am looking to travel to Uzbekistan in July of this year. I was hoping to get a multiple entry visa. Under the new rules and requirements, do I still need to obtain a letter of invitation first, prior to applying for the visa? Also, can my dates and ports of entry/ exit change (I may come from Kazakhstan or Turkmenistan, depending on direction I travel). Also, the evisa that's supposed to come out later this year, will it work for US citizens?
Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!
