Hey 100 Countries Travelers Members!
How did you guys visit over 100 countries? Did you guys usually start with visa free countries nor do Visa required Countries? I would like to start off this newly traveling club with this question.
I started off going from Canada in 1997 and then 12 years later; I did Bahamas Cruise in June 2009; And then I started doing real consecutive traveling Mexico and Costa and countries in North America in 2013. At that time, I didn't really have a job nor a career till 2017. In 2017, I started firstly traveling across the Atlantic and did a whole Bunch of European Countries, Micronesia, Japan, lots of Asian Countries, Africa (Tanzania, Rwanda(landed on foot while I had a layover), Ethiopia, South Africa, Benin, etc), etc in 7.8 years! So incredible!
I didn't really do any Visa required countries with the exception of India, Australia and Cuba! I think between 2017-2024 there weren't that many countries required a visa. So basically I started off with visa free countries as much as possible and lot less visa required countries. Depending on the Nationality of Passports; not all passports go farther beyond the world's 100 countries.
I did a lot of cruises in the Caribbean which made it affordable and easy enough to reach 100 countries. Every little small affordable thing does add up significantly! Makes a huge difference! I was really worried I wouldn't be able to go to 100 countries when I was 20 till it actually happened now!
PS However, what was incredible was I visited Ethiopia but never had to do a visa since I had a layover and was able to sleep! Aint' that lucky?! Yes!
I visited 100 countries by age 31! Wow!
Not to Visa is my answer to my visits over 100 countries! I'm happy to have discussions about this! Thanks
