Palestine Tour with Allenby Bridge Entry

I would like to visit these cities in Palestine: Hebron; Nablus; Jericho; and Ramallah. The entry would be at the Allenby Bridge from Jordon. Has someone done this? Looking for a guide to meet me at the bridge and do the tour. Any suggestions. John Latta

  • Thank you. Yes, I do not want my passport stamped. I have traveled in much of Israel and wanted to build this trip around Jordon and the visit to the West Bank as outlined in this note.

  • My friend took the Private Tour with  Green Olive Tours with three family members from Jerusalem. I'm sure meeting at the Allenby Bridge can be arranged. I took a bus from there to East Jerusalem which was 30 ILS. Getting back from Jerusalem to Allenby were two daily buses leaving Jerusalem Gates at 07:00 or 13:00 HR. otherwise it costs around 350 ILS in a taxi. Note your passport will not be stamped at Ben Gurion Intl Airport Tel-Aviv or Allenby Bridge, anywhere else is ''up in the air.'' You don't have to start in Jordan for the tour if visiting West Bank.

  • Excellent. My plan would be to spend 2 or 3 days in the West Bank with entry and exit at the Allenby Bridge. I would like to visit the cities above. I have been to Bethlehem and Jerusalem before so it is not necessary to visit these. I would like to be met at the Allenby Bridge once crossed, do the tours and return for the crossing to Jordon. In addition to seeing these cities, and the West Bank, to get a Palestinian view of life.

  • How long were you planning to stay in the West Bank??? Is this a day tour??? My friend recommended ''Green Olive Tours.'' Their main office in the US is in Minneapolis MN, they have website as well.  I went to the West Bank in 2015,yet managed out of Jerusalem before crossing back into Jordan in the Allenby Bridge. Your passport won't be stamped, you're giving an entry permit card then an exit permit card. They'll be zapped on entry/departure into Israel & Jordan. Don't lose them, remember there is a departure tax from Jordan & Israel (10 JND & 200 ISK) .Transportation is limited in that area. Allow time for crossing Allenby Bridge probably at least a couple hours.
