We are looking to book a 10 day Antarctica Peninsula Cruise with Albatros Expeditions on the Ocean Victory ship but we have not heard a lot about them.
Does anyone have any feedback on this company and ship? Would you recommend them? Any pros or cons with doing an expedition with them?
When is your favorite time to visit Antarctica and why?
Thanks for your feedback and insights.

Mark, this is the first I have heard of Albatros Expeditions. Are they marketed to North Americans? I only found one review for Ocean Victory: https://www.cruisecritic.com/cruise/albatros-expedition/ocean-victo... Their bad experience with weather and a medical emergency could happen on any ship.
We had a great cruise on Seabourn Quest in late January. Luxury cruise, excellent expedition staff, we saw plenty of whales, birds, penguins and penguin chicks, have no information on other months. Quest only cruises to Antarctica on their world cruise, Seabourn has a couple of smaller, newer ships for the poles. We saw no elephant seals, their territorial battles are earlier.
Seabourn, Silversea and Ponant are similar to each other in luxury expedition cruising, the latter with a more French and European twist. Hurtigruten and NatGeo are less luxurious.
