Thought we might use the forum share information on getting the best deals with credit cards that offer airline mileage rewards? No endorsement intended, of course!!!
I have a Chase Continental card and also a Chase United card. I called to cancel the United card before I get an annual fee and they told me if I don't cancel there were some current offers associated with the card like either wave the annual fee, or give 10,000 bonus miles and a couple of other things. So I asked if there were any offers associated with the Continental card and the offers were about the same. So I still cancelled the United card but I took the extra miles for the Continental card. Humm.... maybe I should have asked if I could have the bonuses on both cards. The point being if I had not called I would not have received any bonus.
Just wondering if the rest of you have run into any good deals.

I'm trying to use Aeroplan AirCanada because I fly a lot to Canada to watch NHL Hockey Games as well as see Family! So that's good to maintain these things.

If you decide to play the frequent flyer game feel free to ask for information. The place to start is with getting your real credit report or use a free service like creditkarma.com for a near credit report rating.
Very interesting. Thanks.
Tried for the Continental Card? - the miles can pass back and forth.
Also you can add some miles via obtaining Best Western Hotels Gift Cards. There are Best Western Hotels around the world from Rome to Prince Edward Island.
You are welcome. To play the cards you also need to understand credit reports - see also www.creditkarma.com. Millions of frequent flyer miles are out there for the taking.
Hi JoAnn:
I maintain dozens of cards and accululate millions of frequent flyer miles and points across dozens of airline, hotel and retail cards. Are you aware of www.flyertalk.com?
