lampedusa

I will be visiting Lampedusa in August.  I will be flying there from Sicily.  Does anyone know of a decent moderately priced hotel?  Any other recommendations for visiting Lampedusa?

    I stayed at B&B Altomare in June. It is modern and super nice. It is up a flight of stairs. The breakfast is served down the block at a cafe with amazing pastries. It's a bit odd, but it is modern, well-designed and very clean. Free airport transfers as well. I paid approx 140/night. I highly recommend it.

    I just saw this post.  We went in July and stayed at El Mosaico.  Agree, Renato is awesome!! Highly recommend this place.

    We have returned.  We stayed at the El Mosaico del Sol.  It was $300 per night, but the service was excellent and very well located.  The owner, Renato was extremely helpful.

    Hope you have luck being at a reasonable hotel in terms of the price of the hotel per night.
