  • Thanks for the info. I'm rescheduling my trip to Ghana at a later date due prioritizing obtaining an International Security Position so I will do that another time. But thanks for the info. Or you can fly to Accra, Ghana I heard and then go pay $200 at the airport security.

  • actually it was a disaster to get thru the embassy but that was not totally ghana's fault-  I had a short window between trips all year and had to use a time when I was actually in US on a trip and could give up my passport- they were supposed to process it in two weeks but it took more like 3 weeks and when they mailed it they did something to return envelope that caused it to return to them,  then they called and I had to send another ppd envelope to them (more delay) and they sent it out- it got lost in the US mail system and tracked all over the US before finally arriving after I had to cancel the trip I needed the passport for- cost me about 5k in loss  If you have the time, then it should not be a problem- the problem for me is i am only home a week or so between trips all year long.  THEY NO LONGER DO ON LINE VISAS, ONLY THRU WASHINGTON DC OR NY

  • Very nice! I heard it's getting easy to visit Ghana since you can do it visa on arrival if you have trouble getting visa at the US Embassy? It's getting harder to apply online due to lack of visa processing time

  • was just in Ghana for 8 days in October
