Hi,

Has anyone been to El Salvador recently? My wife and I plan to go there in February 2020. We intend to rent a minivan (with 5 other friends) and visit San Salvador, Ruta de las Flores, Suchitoto and then leave El Salvador along the Panamerican highway at El Amatillo.

Any places to avoid? Any special precautions to take beyond the "normal" ones in a risky country?
