Hi, I am thinking of visiting Oman this March. Normally I just buy a flight to a place and maybe a hotel for the first night, and then improvise every day. Is this feasible in Oman, especially since I don't drive cars?
I am worried that public transport is too limited, and walk-in hotel rooms are hard to find. Any insights are welcome, thanks!

I was just thinking about going to Oman next year December 2026!
That is interesting. I always ponder and thought I went there since UAE corner I was closer to border of Oman!
